Mexican cooking class

A Mexico cooking class provides a unique insight into the world of Mexican cuisine. The cuisine is known all over the world, although many people do not know that it is actually a combination of the Aztec, Maya and Spanish cuisines. The Aztec influence can still be found thanks to the use of corn in many of the dishes.

Mexican cuisine has a number of delicious dishes, it is not surprising that the Spaniards have succeeded in making the dishes popular all over the world. In the Netherlands, for example, we know the guacamole and tacos, during the Mexican cooking workshop we also work with lesser-known dishes and ingredients from this beautiful country.

Mexican cuisine makes extensive use of beans and potatoes, for example, this means that we will often work with them within the cooking workshop. In addition, during the cooking workshop Mexico you can count on, for example, chili pepper and papaya; two of the well-known seasonings. Pineapple is also frequently used in dishes. Well-known main courses of Mexican cuisine are, for example, chilaquiles, enchilada, picadillo and quesadilla.
