We were a little late, the chef was absolutely stressed about the time, in the end we made the whole menu in record... time and had plenty of time left for dinner and drinks. The group downstairs was loud and the noise was not pleasant, there was no door to reduce the sound from the other group. Sufficient drinks provided, choice in drinks was somewhat limited with 1 red and 1 white wine. In the end a nice evening with a pleasant chef but there is some room for improvement.read more

For our team outing, we followed a super fun sushi workshop at Keukenvuur.The different ways of rolling sushi were... explained very clearly and calmly, so that they worked well for everyone. It was also very nice that we could attend this workshop with a small group.The location itself is also worth a compliment. When you arrive at the small industrial estate, the building looks fairly dull/neutral from the outside. But appearances can be deceiving: as soon as you step through the door, you are in kitchen heaven.What a super nice, appropriate and cozy interior. You can clearly see the passion for cooking and everything that has to do with food.In short, attending a cooking workshop at Keukenvuur is definitely recommended.read more

For my wife's birthday, Sil prepared a really great 5-course menu with the asparagus theme, including a delicious... asparagus soup (my daughters aged 7 and 12 thought this was the highlight of the evening) and a beautiful main course with asparagus and smoked veal. Complimented with a very good wine arrangement, the evening was more than complete! Everything was taken care of down to the last detail and after the delicious food, the kitchen was also completely clean and tidy! All you have to do is enjoy the delicious dishes and the enthusiasm with which Sil likes to talk about the dishes (without dominating the conversation). Yesterday: 20 years married. And Tarja and I celebrated that intimately at home with a beautiful 6-course menu by Chef... Sil van Keukenvuur. Recommended.Sil takes everything with him: from crockery, glasses, pans, cutlery to the peonies on the table. But of course also everything to cook 6 courses and the matching wines.Sil sets the table, cooks and serves in a stylish and pleasant way. He turns your house into a restaurant for 2 (or more). He starts with a clean kitchen and leaves it clean after coffee with Madeleine cookies baked here.What a beautiful dinner with salmon, grilled tuna, Biff a la Lindström (typical Swedish) and veal entrecote on asparagus. We had a great cooking workshop with a kitchen fire! Our theme was street food, we were allowed to prepare delicious... snacks from different parts of the world and then eat them. Recipes that I will definitely try again at home.The hospitality and the good supervision made it a great evening.read more

In honor of a bachelor party, we participated with 11 ladies in the Indian cooking workshop. Had a fantastic afternoon,... made cozy Indian recipes while enjoying a nice music and a drink. Then together at the table to enjoy all the delicious food. Sil knew a lot about the dishes and useful tips & tricks to be able to reproduce those delicious recipes at home. In addition, he kept a perfect eye on everything, and helped everyone where needed. Excellent care, beautiful facilities (more than enough space and equipment for cooking and also a cozy dining room). To be repeated! Thank you Sil!read more
